“Daddy, tell us a story”
“OK, what do you want to hear?”
“Sleeping Beauty!”
“Little Red Riding Hood!”
“Cinderella!”
“Snow White!”
“Goldilocks!”
“Jack and the Beanstalk!”
“The Three Little Pigs!”
“Rumpelstiltskin!”
“Alright, I know that one…”

In 1997, as the father of 4 young children, I had been reading to my children for years and decided to try my hand at storytelling. I thought it would be fun to combine several popular children’s stories into a single narrative which would be entertaining for both children and adults. The result is, “A Fairy Tales”, or “Sleeping Little Cindersnowylocks and Jack and the Three Pigs meet Rumpelstiltskin”. A short but fun-filled story with Ugly Stepsisters, a Sorceress, Jack’s prizes from the giant, and Three Little Pigs living in a house with a very strange construction. See if you can identify each different source Fairy Tale as you go through this hilarious story.
Now, 22 years later, after much prodding from these children who are no longer so young, I hope to share this story outside my family.
